is there anyway to turn off or disconnect the factory phone from my car it makes a high pitch whinning noise from my speakers

Have you pulled the phone out? Both of my Marks have the phone option and in neither one do I get a ringing sound. I have taken the phones out of both.

Also, there should be a fuse somewhere I don't have my book with me... That might help.

turn on the phone, turn down the volume ON THE PHONE and then turn off the phone.

Well I Look A It This Way Too,since Im In The Auction Biz...if You Have Upgraded The Sterio System Whether Or Not If It 's Only Sterio Or Speakers And Or Amp..this Will Obstruct The Usage Of The Phone As Stupid As It Sounds..i SugGest Get Rid Of The Phone!!!
Take Out The Phone System If You Are Not Actuly Using It..and Up- Grade To Better Things.;)

i love my phone it has great range and sounds great.alltel hooked it up for me for only 10 bucks extra over my normal bill.
