Engine coolant temp sensor.MrWilson November 14th, 2005, 07:11 PM Wheres it at, any pics? not hard to replace? 94m5 November 14th, 2005, 07:35 PM It's one of the sensors in the coolant crossover tube in the fron of the motor. This is the one that wraps around the alternator. I BELIEVE it's the drivers side sensor. Mike Psychostang November 14th, 2005, 08:13 PM Temp sensor - which goes to the computer, is on the passenger side of the crossover tube. Temp sender - which goes to the instrument gauge, is on the drivers side of the cross over tube. The sensor will have a plastic connector with 2 pins. The sender will have a little 90deg rubber connector, with 1 wire. 94m5 November 14th, 2005, 08:17 PM facing the front or back? Psychostang November 14th, 2005, 08:24 PM I adjusted. MrWilson November 14th, 2005, 08:55 PM k thank you very much. my hid keeps telling me that my engine coolant is low, and i ran it through my diog program, and it says that my problems may be comming from the engine coolant temp sensor. Psychostang November 14th, 2005, 08:59 PM Is your plastic reservoir filled to the top. The lowest cold level is only about a 1/2 inch from the top. | ||||
