I hope that this is not a question previously asked, I did look back through the treads with no luck....
I would like to know the part number for both the Radio / cassette unit, and the Amplifier (located in the trunk are, and what the significance of the part numbers are?
I am trying to figure out what Ford / Lincoln models and years used the same radio / cassette unit and Amplifier unit as my 1989 Mark VII. I need to replace the Radio / Cassette unit in my car, but have been unable to locate a unit from either the junk yards, or through e-Bay. I see 88, 90 and 91 year JBL systems listed by e-bay, but am unsure if they will work in my 89.
If I know what other models / years are compatible with my cars unit, I would be better prepared to acquire one as it gets listed in e-bay or at my local junk yards.
