03 CTS, Can't into gear, why???

New to the forum, noob...

Need some help!

I turn on the car, and press the brake, but the shifter (auto) won't move.

Sensor???

Which, where, how much???

check the shifter linkage on the tranny.

I had the same problem with my 03.If your brake lights are out it is a safty feature. Check you brake lights!!!
