HyeLifeLS November 1st, 2005, 06:22 PM Last weekend I had a trip to San Francisco from Long Beach, about 400 miles and took some pictures. Actually the car is a dirty in the pictures because of all the bugs on the front and also i didn't wash it for almost a week. The trip was great, had some fun with 2 new C-class Benzes (c240 and c230 kompressor), drove up to 130 few times while passing them. Some unpleasant stuff happened too, my friend was driving and a cop was comming from the opposite direction and he made a U-turn and pulled us over at 103 over 70mph and a ticket for dark windows. So we'll see what's happening.

HyeLifeLS November 1st, 2005, 10:10 PM The guy who was doing my clear headlights asked me to paint the bezels the same color as the car, but I think on my color they look better black, also they match the lower black plastic trim and the chrome rims/black tires - chrome headlights/black bezels.
Gotta love that color. Can you paint those headlight bezels?

I like you car and it has shown me what mine will look like with a fully chrome grill. I just bought the Trendz Horizontal bar gill and will have pics up on the "flamed my car" thread soon.

HyeLifeLS November 2nd, 2005, 05:30 PM No not at all, just there are bunch of bumps on the road in downtown. It reminds me of Europe because of the building styles, narrow roads, electric trains and some Cafes, really nice. I would go again.

I havent travelled much but I know san Fran is definitely one of a kind. Hard to keep the streets manicured as much as they are used especially downtown. Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit.

With dark window tint usually a a cop will only get a person in trouble if they are being pulled over for something else like speeding, right? By the way you look like a mobster in that black coat, I can just imagine you stepping out of your LS with that coat on and black shades with your gun lol.
HyeLifeLS November 3rd, 2005, 02:14 AM John, my friend was driving my car and I was sitting next to him. The cop pulled us over and gave him a ticket for speeding and me a tint ticket as I am the owner of the car, and believe me, cops do pull over only for tinted windows sometimes, even for front licence plate. But that cop was really an ass, everything we were asking him, he was just saying that we can ask in the court and ask in the court, he said it about ten times.. I told him that he was just jelous because he is driving a Ford and we a Lincoln.. haha.
