Hey uh guys. If i were to shave 100 lbs off of my car, do you think i could pick up .1 seconds in the quarter mile. I guess if i can't beat MR. Wilson i join him.

Every hundred pounds is equivelent to a tenth in the 1/4 mile.

Thats what everyone says but it cant be true for every car... a civic with a 4 cylinder and a Mark with a V8 are gonna react alot different to 100 pounds less weight.... isnt that a drag car thing anyway?

I'm sure Geno was responding to his questions regarding the Mark VIII, every 100 lbs on the Mark is equivalent to a tenth in the quarter, who gives a damn what Civic can do?

In general,



100 pounds removed from a cars mass, is equal to one tenth in the 1/4 mile. There are highs and lows to this, but thats the average.
