ANyone know? thanks, scott aggiestckl September 17th, 2005, 04:31 PM well i got a stock 97 and my buddy had a stock 98 cobra and we acctually just both bought them recently and went out to atco race track i ran a 15.4 bone stock, he ran a 13.9... dunno maybe my car runs better than that.. had alotta probs with the tires hookin up on the mark 98LSC32V September 17th, 2005, 08:02 PM A stock 96-98 Cobra will make 255-265rwhp down to the paper filter. A Mark VIII typically dynos 220rwhp. 94m5 September 18th, 2005, 12:58 AM You need to take the manual vs auto thing into account. Mike klutch September 18th, 2005, 01:18 AM 96 Cobra don't have IRS either does it? 94m5 September 18th, 2005, 01:25 AM nope... solid 8.8" buddylee September 18th, 2005, 04:40 AM nope... solid 8.8" that sucks 4 them aggiestckl September 18th, 2005, 08:30 AM whats the stock 1/4 supposed to be for the mark along with the cobra.. 97 mark 98 cobra sho89mtx September 18th, 2005, 10:26 AM whats the stock 1/4 supposed to be for the mark along with the cobra.. 97 mark 98 cobra stock marks can run anywhere from a 15.4 to a 14.4 depending on the year and how lucky you got of a stock car and I think although the times in magazine say those cobra run 13.9's, I've never seen a stock cobra run a 13 at the track in my life stock except for the supercharged and new ones of course. They are usually runing 14.2's all night long, but that could be driver error too. PioneerCrazed September 18th, 2005, 10:43 AM Here is a website with a bunch of "stock" cars 0-60 times, and 1/4 mile times. Gives you a ball park figure. http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html 98LSC32V September 18th, 2005, 05:00 PM I've never seen a Mark VIII not be able to run low 15's bone stock with a tuned up engine. 96-98 Cobras run high 13's/low 14's stock all day. The convertible Cobras are a bit slower, probably 14.2-14.5. | |||||
