That's awesome to hear, Brad. Can't wait to see that baby fly. Hit me up on the cell when you get the car back and one of these weekends I'll come to the track with ya. :Beer

Looks as if I should just try and make my car LOOK better, because trying to catch up with the mods you have is going to take a while. :D

what mods do you have that you would need Drag radials for

Even a stock Mark VIII would benefit from Nitto drag radials...

I would have to disagree, If you run at the track they spray VHT (route 66 is one of the best) and I dont even spin, I hook like hell, and feels like im breaking stuff in to second. the street maybe but I never ever had a problem even with the 4 10s

It's not just about traction although that certaintly is the main reason why people get them. A 245/50/16 tire will effectively lower your gearing slightly compared to the stock 225/60/16 tire.

the diff aint much if any, trust me. Im not crazy. I have a pair of Drag radials my self at the track I ran 3 with and 3 with out and they were the same. If im going to try and get a tenth better I normally were light cloths, take a huge crap and a long piss. thats good for about .05, depending on the crap

It's not just the launches, you will notice better midrange response as well. The converter seems to allow more power to the wheels through the drivetrain. I'd bet if you dynoed before and after you get the converter, there would probably be more torque at the wheels... Just from what I've gathered when I got it. There also was even more pull in 2nd gear.

i shaved 2 tens off my time with my 2800 stall but my 60's are the same 2.3, thats the only thing that i have had done. shift kit go's in tomarrow.

(running a 15.2 @92.92mph)
