I have a buddy who has been rebuilding Camaro's for years. He has a 79, which he is rebuilding right now to a 402 with TT. He also has a 78 , but I know for a fact he would be VERY interested. He would love to use it for parts or as a new project car. I'll PM you with more Info soon.
