If your garage door opening system uses a rolling code then you may not be able to use the homelink system. My garage door uses a rolling code and I could never get the homelink system to work.

Ok I have the rolling thing in my grage but I can use it. This how I did it. There should be a bootton on your grage door opener that you activite your other grage door romote. Press that and then press the homelink button in your car and it should activite. Make sure you press the homelink button for atleast 2 seconds.then do it the second time and it should work.

right - most of today's openers are rolling code. Like in my post above - press the 'teach / learn' button on the openers head - then press your homelink button until the opener's light flashes to comfirm.
