I was wondering if any one could help me out with a question regarding my rear window. It seems that it broke on me yesterday. The window does not go up and only goes down slightly. I have to pull the window up so that it is only a 1/4 way open. I can hear something going on inside the door but it doesn't sound really good. I guess what could it be? and could I do the repair myself or how much would it be for the dealer to do the work. Thank you on any insight you can give me. I really enjoy the forum and usually read it daily.

Welcome. This is one of the most common issues with the LS. In fact the same question has been asked twice in the last couple of days.

do a search on 'regulator' - lots of advice, prices and partnumbers..... very very very common problem.
