Ok I have a 97 markVIII with that JBL :q:q:q:q and I want to put in a head unit since my changer is busted. I have been told that I would half to rewire each speaker Is this just BS or does ti need to be done?
also any Idea what kind of unit to get not looking for anything flashey just a cleen look and at least one preamp out put for my sub??? :ballon

come on guys I know some of you have put in new head units !

You will have to rewire the whole system because with the JBL system the factory amp has the crossovers built into it for the seperate tweeters that are in the car already. I ran my radio thru the factory amp until I upgraded, so you maybe able to get away with a direct wire at first.
