I hear a clunk when start the ccar in the morning and shift from park to reverse? should i get this checked out? could you point me to some threads if there are any thanks. Is this normal motor mounts, tranny?

I can tell you what I would look at if my car was making this noise. I would start with the transmission mounts. If these were loose or bad, they could cause the sound you've heard. Then I'd check the universal joints, any slack there would also cause the same noise.
