Well i guess it started. Does the 02LS usually have this problem? The noise happens only sometimes, clunking and rattling. I think it may be that the bra is loose, but why wouldn't I hear clunking at 60 mph?
Any input would help.

Were there any recalls on the 02? Like ball joints?
Does it need sway bar bushings or sway bar replacement?

Common problem...ball joints. Get it on a lift and track it down...

The car is still under warranty, can the dealer fix this problem?

I just called to make an appointment on monday. I told the guy that the ball joints needed to be replaced and he said, "we'll see."
Are they going to try and railroad me on monday? Tell me that they couldn't replicate the problem?

I wouldn't tell them to replace anything. I would just tell them to test drive it on the bumpest road they can find. They will definently hear it if somethings wrong.

They should be able to find the problem. You should just tell them the sound it's making, and they shouldn't have a problem diagnosing it. You could also suggest to them to check the sway bar and ball joint. It's not demanding, but they will know to check it.
