That's awesome. But STS? Cop car. I don't think that's going to happen. Cruisers are pretty big and don't handle for crap. STS 140 MPH, Traction control, 4 channel ABS, yeah. The cruiser has no chance. Well I guess the radio. :)

It's too bad they removed the reporter audio... Let me tell you, what a *dumb* broad they had reporting on this. She was like "IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!!! He keeps escaping the police! Yadda yadda yadda, I have no education!" What a tool.

I agree. The driving skills are superb. Must have been rear wheel drive to pull that off. The cops should have given him a gold star when they got him.

Well although I don't think the cops have a chance against any STS on the open road, I'm going to slightly contradict my self here. In my experience, back in the day when I drove hot rods. The trick with cops was to make lots of turns. See, if you have a car that's great out of the hole and lots of bottom end, they don't. So if you keep making them slow down to make turns. you can continually outrun them on the short straights in between.

Just a theory but it worked for me. :N

That was some good driving. The cops were doing picture perfect PIT manuevers, they just needed to slow down and head him off when he got it turned around.
