How easy are the interior panels to take out on the LS (specifically a 00 LS). I finally got around to removing the Delphi Skyfi from the buick and my fiancee' has been hounding me to put it in the Lincoln. I'm looking to do a clean install and hid all the wires underneath trim panels. Save for the final foot or so of wiring to the adapter cradle, I should be able to hide everything else.

All the panels are easy to remove. If you are removing the radio, simply use a small/narrow flat head screwdriver and work the vents out above the radio. The woodgrain beneath your climate control is easy to remove to.....use the same technique. Remove the bolts holding the radio/climate control system and you're set to go. The door sills are easy to remove.......just pull up from one side and work it up. Its nothing too hard to do........i've had all my panels off at one time or another. Well, the Skyfi unit is going to be mounted on the faceplate to the radio on the passenger side of it. The wires I am going to have come out of the bottom of the dash on the passenger side, so I'm going to need to remove all passenger side trim panels at the floor and underside of the dash. I'm going to route the antenna through the back seats and out the top of the trunk.

You should be able to run them under the carpet up by the passenger side footwell and then under the door sills to the back of the car. The wires will tuck nicely behind everything........that is, if i am following you correctly? If I am, you will only need to remove your door sill panels and your rear seat to make things easy on you. Let me know if this is what you plan on doing.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm planning on doing. I think I could probably massage the wires under the rear seat without removing it and then go behind it into the trunk.

My biggest concern is how bad it's going to look with the wires sticking out of the dash because the Skyfi isn't the most clean install. I'm half tempted to just buy the converter box and call it done but then the skyfi we have would go to waste.
