im randy. im from cincinnati. i dont currently own a lincoln or caddy but i may very well be a proud owner of an escalade sometime this week. one question though, did they skip the year 01 in escalades? a guy im talkin to about his lade said its an 01 but i cant seem to find anything on the net about em. kelleybluebook.com doesnt even give u the option of pricing an 01. any input on this?

Your right... Believe it or not, there was no 2001 Escalade. Cadillac skipped a year and went straight to the 2002 Escalade with a new body design.
