I was watching an episode of Pimp My Ride tonight and they installed at 22" MTX Jackhammer subwoofer in a Buick Century. This thing blew my mind. 360 pounds and I think they hooked up like 6 amps, 6 capaciters, and 3 extra batteries. I just wanted to say that thing is crazy.

I never understood that show. They take a complete beater, do their thing to it, and they leave the powertrian untouched. Your "customized" Rattle Box will look real pimpin' in your driveway, because the motor blew up.

I was big into car audio in the early 90's, but after getting ripped off twice for over $4500 in equipment I got over it.

I am running two alpine type e 12's that are pretty good for the price. I got them, a 1200 watt amp, a box, wiring, and a radar detector for about $550 from crutchfield. I am pretty happy with them. They don't hit over a huge range but in their range they pound.

Yeah, on Overhaulin they actually redo everything. Engine, suspension, everything gets taken care of. Plus I like Chip Foose's style.
