headlight glue

i am planning on taking the yellow out of my head light and i went to go buy the gray glue but i only saw the gray glue silicone for gasket seals i just wanted to know where you guys got your glue at for your head light and what brand id the best

Umm, if im not mistaken, your headlights only come apart if you have the grey colored glue keeping your lights together, and if you want to reseal them, theres plenty of choices, I used some fishtank sealant that I had lying around.

i do have the gray glue and i just need they same type of glue for when i have to reseal it

you dont really have to use the same glue to reseal it, any other type of sealant will work just fine.

the gray glue is usually found on older ls models, and is commonly associated with the foggy headlights. i used a black sealant i got at discount auto parts to reseal mine after i took my headlights apart. i heard that the black is better than the gray in respect to leaking.

100% true. Go with the black glue. the problem was the gray glue could not stand the heat and started to form little gaps. The black glue is from what I hear better at handleing the heat.
