Hello all as of right now i am looking at a 99-2001 navigator and was woundering what some common problems are? How reliable is the motor/tranny? Anything you would change about the vehicle or are unhappy with?

I am compareing it to a 99-2000 escalade. Which doesnt have as many interior options but is lighter and gets a little better MPG also the motor/tranny combo in the escalade is long lasting depending on how it was driven. Thank you all for the replys

That is true however, it is a little faster then the gator and it gets a little better mpg around 14 city. What does the navigator get? 12? What are some major problems with the drive train? ie sensors going bad, manifold leak etc? Thank you for the post
