GovernorFrogman July 24th, 2005, 08:57 PM What's the 98 LSC governed at? I could not push mine past 122. :( evillally July 24th, 2005, 11:20 PM Usually 135... Frogman July 24th, 2005, 11:28 PM That's what I thought too... Perhaps the 7000+ ft. altitude doest help much with that either. evillally July 25th, 2005, 12:56 AM That, and a if you're running with a steeper gear, (4:10, etc) that may alter top speed as well... Frogman July 25th, 2005, 07:05 AM I really don't know what Gears I'm running. I would presume stock, for I turn around 2250RPM @ ~80mph. JoeyLincolnMK8 July 25th, 2005, 07:28 AM 98 LSC's have 3:27 stock! Frogman July 25th, 2005, 07:34 AM Now I know, Thank you sir. By any chance, anyone runing 3.73's, and if so, What's the Cruising RPM with 3.73's at 80mph? brentalan July 25th, 2005, 08:42 AM In my car, with 3:73s cruising at 80 is 2750 evillally July 25th, 2005, 08:21 PM ...and 4:10's are right around 3,000 RPMs... Lincolns Own July 25th, 2005, 09:48 PM would this be the same for a GEN. 1 LSC? 94m5 July 25th, 2005, 10:05 PM yes....3.27's in the gen 1 LSCs with 4.10s i turn 3,000 @ 80 98LSC32V July 25th, 2005, 11:47 PM The top speed governer kicks in at 124mph for LSC and 130 for base. BeatingU July 26th, 2005, 01:46 PM Hell top speed now that I put my posi and 3.73's in is 115. It pulls so hard all the way there and then bam it's like a brick wall . To bad I cant get a chip. RustyBaker July 26th, 2005, 01:55 PM cant you just take a governor out? 94m5 July 26th, 2005, 02:05 PM cant you just take a governor out? Nope...It's got to be programmed out. Gruuvin8 July 26th, 2005, 04:00 PM cant you just take a governor out? its not a physical thing, but a program in the computer. | |||||
