1. Seafoam through either the PCV line, or the brake booster.

2. IAC can be cleaned by spraying the inside with some brake cleaner and then a light spray of WD-40...

Sorry guys for being such a newb on th subject, but I am going to be doing the same thing soon and would like to know exactly what and where the IAC is located. I have heard several times that a bad, dirty IAC can cause engine idle problems? Just would like to know a bit before I do it.

Also when using the Sea Foam via the vacuum lines and/or brake booster line, exactly how much do you let suck in ? About 3/4 of a can ?

Sorry for using your thread, just needed a little insight.

well my iac needs to be cleand , when i start my car i wont stay running and if im sitting at a light it will jump from 650 to 400 again and again.

its located right next to the throttle body, you can eather clean it or go to napa and get a new one for 60 bucks.

the sea foam can has directions, i think its a 1/3 of a can and should be done every oil change
