hey guys,, just noticed lastnite that when i start it up, it revs at bout 1.5-2, than after couple seconds relaxxes down to .5 .. never went that low before, and it rumbles, and shakes and putters sounding like its about to die.

after driving for awhile, it gets lil better but still does it in park, in drive stopped at a light.

just put it 25$ of 92 gas,, and just got oil change day before, and guy even air blew my air filter was nasty.

why would this happen after all 3 positive things been done laast 2 days?

BTW ITS A 2000 V8 WITH 82,000 MILES.

more air flow and higher octane gas will make it change strategies.. it is prolly just relearning a new fuel strategy. better hope the guy didnt blow air threw the filter the wrong way and all the dirt got threw and now u have a contaminated MAF

i used 92 octane,,, and before that i loaded it with shell Vpower 93.

so if it is the air filter and the MAF is f***, than what?

lol i slid a str8 head driver thru the slots,, and the lil casing came loose, think i broke the snaps,,lol

u prolly did break the clamps on it, theyre real delicate. to change the bulb... open the trunkn and take the liker off and the bulbs should be right there, just pull em out and change em. i pretty sure thats how, i did mine like 4 months ago so i kinda forgot.

thanks ,, but i think i can just dap lil crazy glue and it will hold.

i didnt break casing,, just the 2 hinges on each side, so itwont stay up,, lil glue shouldbe cool.

now once the system goes in,, dont know if it will hold with glue,,lol

hey u know what.. lol.. my LS does that sometimes. when im sitting at a light.. i can feel it. shakes the car a lil. umm.. im goin to see if i can duplicate the problem with the computer on it.. see if i can see what is goin on.. ill get back to u :give

thanks alot,, its really bad in mornin on first start of day even if i am there 10min and car is warmed up,, it sounds ruff, and rumbles car,,lol crazy.

My car would shake all over the place at idle in the morning or cold start (even when hot out) and it was a fuel injector. I don't think my idle would drop that low though...

im not really picky about what my car does, so i kinda oversee alot of stuff. i deal with so many bull :q customers during the day that i dont want to deal with lil things my car is doing at night.

ummm ok soo how did the testin go? this isnt a lil thing ur car is doin, as far as for me,, it seems pretty bad,, not somethin 9i can overlook.

was just reading about using the fact recommended oil, 10-20,, than i looked at reciept from oil change i got,, and they used bulk oil 5-30

u think that could be causing problems?
