One of the reasons for his popularity was that people knew little about him personally. Well he changed all that, didn't he. Happens to everyone in Hollywood. If you want to work, you have to blend in. Man, I wonder what those cocktail parties are like. I think I would choke on the artichokes.

His movies are not that good, not to me.

Except for "Top Gun" and "War of the Worlds" I think his movies are average at best. I happened to like the two movies I mentioned, but any good actor could have done as well or better in the leading role.
