I Have Just Purchased A 2005 Lincoln Ls, And I Want To Add A Aftermarket Exhaust To The Ls, And I Have Seen Many Availible For The Ls. I Haven't Seen Any Availible For The 2005 Ls, But The 2004. Will The 2004 Exhaust Work On My Ls?

however - be warned that the OE exhaust was pretty-well tuned and most of the aftermarket companies (McLaren, Borla, Magnaflow) could not squeeze much more hp out of a new exhaust (only 5 hp) which they could not justify the $$$ to the end consumer.

You may wnat to go to a local exhaust shop - replace the cat-back, mufflers and even tips. You'll be able to great the performance sound you want - but at half the price of a kit.

So if I go to a shop and have part of the exhaust I will be better off? So what type of exhaust would you recommend for my Ls? I want to improve the sound more than I want to gain some horsepower. Thanks for the help too

i removed my resonators, i got a better sound at WOT, but at low idle i get a ticking noise, im not sure if its normal or what.
