I have a 2000 LS V8 with the Alpine cassette \ 6 disc changer in the glove box. I really like the new THX touch screen radios, does anybody know if it is possible to put the THX unit in the 2000 LS? If it is possible, what all would I need to get to hook it up, such as wiring harness changes, different amps, the navigation unit, or what. I have the factory subs with a seperate amp, do you think they will still work with the other 6 speakers? Thanks for the help guys.

Better off to buy an aftermark double-din. Much better fidelity.

Sorry I'm a little slow...but are you talking about installing the factory nav unit in a car that came without one? If so, do a search. I wrote up a post that explains what's involved. It's not impossible, but just about. The cost would be horrible even if you did all your own work. If you could get a wrecked car that came with it. you would be a lot better off, but that car would have to have the EXACT same options as you do or the harnesses are different. It really is a nightmare.
