Never used royal purple Thanks for your reply. I had a nissan 300zx twin turbo that I put the redline atf into and a few weeks later leaks started. Then about 2 months later driving down the highway the whole tranny stops functioning. $4k later, I had a new tranny with the factory fluid in it. One of my friends used the redline manual tranny fluid in his 94 supra and apparently it causes bushings to swell and shifting became difficult for him and several other supra owners who had used redline as well. I can't claim a cause and effect between the fluid and the problems but I think sticking to the oem fluid is not a bad way to go. Thanks again. | |||||
