Governmentium

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Governmentium". Governmentium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.

These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.

A minute amount of Governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete, when it would normally take less than a second.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; it does not decay, but, instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass". When catalyzed with money Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element which radiates just as much energy, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons.

I see Vitas is being anal-retentive again. I didn't quote a source because it was sent to me as a joke. My sister was the source. It is pretty funny. Sorry that I broke a rule. I think that just about everyone figured out it was a joke by the end of the first paragraph. At least you should have been able to figure it out.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself. I am not a Liberal. I share some of their fundamental beliefs but I land clearly in Conservative territory.

It's just that I hate George Bush because he lied to us repeatedly about Iraq. He made a fool out of us and I'm still real pissed off about it.

He also lied about his administrations affiliation with religion. He lied about so many things that I can't believe a word he says. There are many of us out there that are disgusted with GWB.

I belive I started it really by commenting on his posting which would have otherwise gone uncommented on and had I known it was offensive to make lite of the matter would have checked with the internet police first.

Maybe rather than Barrying replying Vitas was being anal retentive, which to me seems to elicit a fight, barry could have simple stated yes this was sent to me by a relative. That would have been the end of it.

Personally Barry was out of line in his retort.

I just want to clarify my post here. As a rule I credit the orginator of technical information as long as I can remember and will even go as for to just say another member...etc.

But with a joke I can't say that I would 100% of the time. Ususally the credit is delivered when I FWD the email but in a public forum you really don't want to copy and pasted the full email. You risk posting email addresses and we all know the consiquence for doing that.

At any rate I'd hoped the use of smileys would have properly conveyed my attempt at humor here but it didn't. we are writing a thesis,r erradicating a hunger crisis or resolving a global conflict. So please for the sake of those who might be passing through to check the place out lets keep some sense of civility in our levities.

Tell you what liberal infidels. if your constiuents want hope and a hand up ask them to visit thier local church or synagogue. I work for folks in these agencies that help drug addicted people everyday and they do not get government funding and do not preach to these folks. Just good ol fashioned donations helping folks everyday no strings attached. No fat cat political middle man holding the purse strings there. Pure non-bureaucratic person to person help.
