Alternator removal

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

So on my 95 Continental I'm trying to take out my alternator and apparently it wont slide out of the hole above it between the coolant pipes. And I guess those pipes wont come out. If I take out my coolant resevoir will I be able to get it out? Do I have to take out my power steering resevoir also? It seems like the bolts just keep turning and they don't come out. If anyone knows any tips to get the alternator out let me know. Thanks.

Hey Clean95...
What's the status on this one? Any tips for the rest of us?

Yep I just moved the p/s resivoir out of the way with it still connected then moved the resivoir for the coolant also. Didn't need to disconnect them just move them. Then the alternator slid right under the metal tube that the coolant runs through. Really easy actually. Just get those resivoirs out of the way. Good Luck!
