alright. we put a transmition in my car four months ago, and it was working fine untill the pump died, and so my stupid friend decided to mess with the tv cable. it went from shifting on its own every time, to only shifting every now and then and only when you hit 4000 rpm and then take your foot off compleatly. and when you put the car down into first, it dosnt accualy shift untill you hit 7mph, untill then it stays in 2nd. now i know that it isnt going to shift right when you put it in 1st, but isnt 7mph a little bit slow? now the book says it should do that at 25mph, should i go just pay the $60 and have it tv cable set by a pro, or just deal with it.

Get it fixed right by someone who knows what they're doing or you're gonna smoke that transmission in a hurry.
