Here are the pics Thanks for posting them!

That's actually a sharp car. Too bad there's no modular V8 under there...

I just posted the link...

The pictures were taken by James Simmons, one of the moderators of the yahoo Lincoln group.

Here is what he said as he was leaving for the meet:

Subject: Branson is calling...

Well, folks, I'm off to Branson for the national meet.
Pat (the other group moderator) will be approving
messages in my absence, but Pat lives in New Zealand,
so expect some delays.

If you're in the mood for a nice vacation, take this
week off and join the rest of us:

My own lyrics sung to the tune of "Merry Christmas
Darling" by the late Karen Carpenter:

Meeting packs have all been sent
The sign up rush is through
But I still have one wish to make
A special one for you

Off we go to Branson
We’ll compete, that’s true
But I can dream and in my dreams
I’m snatching first place from you

Nationals are joyful
There’s always something new
But in my mind, I’ll always find
Just one more thing to do

The attention my car
Gets from afar
I see it every day
Judges are wired
Filled with desire
To finish judging and say

That you’re sure to get a second
First place goes to me
I’ve just one wish on this Branson eve
First place goes to me…
First place goes to me

Wish me luck. I'm taking Blue Belle.

That cars' twin is the Ford Fusion. Also a Mazda 6 platform.

Defintely a looker, very sexxy car. Looks like an Audi A6.

FWD ¿WHY LORD WHY?

I know it is going to be offered in an AWD but the FWD is just sickening... think I am going to BLAH! sorry.

Just realized the rear headlights look a lot like the old Infinity Q-45's from a few years back. In fact, nearly identical.

looks sharp indeed. but i think the car would look a lot better lowered, especially that front end.

Posted by: iceykola

The front would definately look better a lil lower. I hope someone makes a body kit for it before I buy one. Only thing I really wish they put in there is a plug for a portable media player. Making me consider a Lexus :-\ Other than that, and a couple more options they coulda made available, I love this car.

Yes, Lincoln should've gone with the concept look, with the lowered floor and flared out sides. That's the look in the new Lexus IS350 (though the IS 350 looks too narrow- not as wide as Zephyr?), and it does add to the perceived sportiness.

It's ok.
