I think I am going to trap (I mean- Invite) Ron to bring his Lexus so I can spank that thing. But that would probably void the warranty or something. Wouldn't want those GS's going any faster than the double nickle plus ten. Let me know who might be interested in seeing what their car can really do. All you need are good tires, no oil or tranny leaks, 3 point seatbelt, a helmet, long pants and a willingness to have the time of your life. And of course, 3+ clams. Mark VII vs Mark VIII vs LS for best lap time and the bragging rights that go along with it. ![]() |

October in WI is beautiful for those who haven't been. Road America is one of my very favorite tracks in the US I've ever raced on. It's beautiful and fast. I'm actually going to be there on the 1st weekend of June. http://www.roadamerica.com/ |

After I cut the roof off to make it a convertible, I never got it back together. The whole chassis was stolen without the motor and suspension. They carried the damn thing out of the shed. I couldn't believe it. It was a sad ending to a very satisfying ride and my first love.

I think I have you covered (easily). The Mark is just too much of a boat. Even with your Addcos, you can't match the cornering of a STOCK GS. I'll spot you the track knowledge, as I have only raced there a half dozen times in the last 10 years, and all times were on a bike. I hope I can make it, though the last time I raced in Oct. in WI, it was damn near snowing..so I won't be looking forward to that.... |
