Factory CD Changer

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have a 1993 Mark and would like to know if there are wiring previsions in the trunk for the factory CD changer. The car already has the JBL audio system. It would be great to slap a factory unit in there if it is cheap.

Regards,
BILL

There should be wiring connections in the trunk behind the carpeting on the driver side. When I bought a Crown Vic, it had no CD changer, but behind the carpet there were connections for the premium audio system. Ford usually does that so the stealership can easily upgrade the system to the customer specifications.

I'll be taking mine out in a week or so,to replace it with a single CD receiver. If you want to wait that long you can have mine it holds 10 discs, works well and I'm getting tired of having to keep going in the trunk to change it. If you need it you can have the factory head unit too AM/FM, cassette and CD changer controls it even plays CD-R's believe it or not, from a 96 LSC if the unit will work in yours. Otherwise, I'll just toss it. Unless somebody else wants it. no charge.

I bought me an MP3 Player... Use the cassette tape link from MP3 to stock deck. Now I've got my own playlists for unending music... Creatvie ZEN Micro. Blows away iPOD.

Which cassette tape adapter do you use? Mine always tries to auto flip itself...

Luke.

Radio/CD changer and cartridge are spoken for. If I knew they were this popular I wouldn't have thrown out the other one.
