Ok, I hear a lot of you guys talk about swapping out your rear end with the whole pumpkin units off of cobra and/or mustangs, but my questions are these:
what does trac-lock mean?
if you want to keep your factory traction control, which rear end kit should u get?

thanks,
scott

Trak-Lock is Ford's name for positraction rear. Your traction control should still work with any type of rear. The Gen 1 traction control stops working at about 35 mph so if you spin the tires hard enough its useless anyway.

With the stock rearend in place, when you floor it, you usually get 'one wheel peel'. With the trac-loc unit, both tires will smoke 'em up. The traction control on the car works off the rotation of the wheels and the sensors are locacted on a gear near the rear wheel hub on each side. Two different animals, not related, except in name (traction xxxxx).

Ughm Scott... I don't mean for this to sound bad, but it is what it is...
