my car is getting painted as we speak....

Just took my car to the paint shop to get it totally repainted, get the entire grill and fake chrome bumper and door molding painted all the same color. Should be a huge difference. Next step is the custom dual exhaust setup

yeah, but although u can't see it in my sig pic, the color is supposed to be "garnett red" but has faded so much in the oklahoma sun that people tease me it look pink, so it will be a huge difference =)

me 2. I'm trying to make it as unique as I can because I work at a big business with a huge parking lot and there is an 80 year old lady that parks in handicap that uses a walker to get out of her car that has the exact same year and color mark VIII as mine with everything the same except she has those cheezy chrome fender wells and I get teased about if I raced the 80 year old yet or "hey what is your car doing in the handicap spot hahahhahahhaah.

Good luck with the system. We just did Lydells Mark which is the same color as yours at the LVC meet with our QX4 cat back system, but there is a twist, our new XII mufflers we had done with the tips ALOT closer together so now gen 1 owners can have the KILLER quad tip look and it fits inside the factory oval bumper cuts perfectly. Looks INSANE and very different.

yeah looks good, but I don't have the bumper cuts or the ability to take it to new jersey

Again why do keep bringing up NJ? ANY shop can install ANY system?????????
You have a 95 right? That should have the cutouts factory. ALL 95's did unless it was replaced?

It wasn't in this forum, it was in the Lincolnmotorsport forum here on LVC for months.

Thats our rear chassis brace. We offered it up for the day of the meet and Lydell jumped on it.

$409 tax included. They did my wifes car a couple years ago and did a great job, so that's why I went to them.

Posted by: PioneerCrazed

If you don't mind, send me a couple interior and exterior pics at pioneercrazed at gmail.com

Thanks

just got my car back from the paint/body shop and all I can say is "holy crap! my car looks good!" It's 1000pm at night, but tommorow I will wash it, add my custom trunk lock cover and take pics of it. The entire car is painted including the entire grille, body molding, the only thing that still has the factory chrome is around the windows, it's a lot like GENO's chameleon paint job, minus the cool chamealon paint , but the scheme is the same

Posted by: PioneerCrazed

Cool man! Can't wait to see pics of it... One question, were you good friends with the body shop? Maybe family, because that seems like one hell of a deal! Is it a base coat/clear coat paint job? Get them pics up ASAP...

Later

Posted by: 67Continental

i would wait a couple weeks before washing it, just some friendly advice

Posted by: Markviiiedrea

any pics yet?

nope, not at all, it's just a very inexpensive paint shop that does good work, I lucked out, I guess. Has a 10 year warranty too and the whole paint job cost me $373 with tax, not bad, huh?

hmm, he said I could wash it at anytime, but wait to wax it until at least a month and that if I don't wash bird poop off my car within 24 hours, that it will make a ring around the paint job or something like that.
