i have an '85 tc signature series w/auto dimmer for the hi beams. the problem is the hi beams won't stay on unless i hold back on the turn signal switch. i set the headlite switch to the minimum distance position as instructed by the owners maual but that didn't help. also the monual said there would be a sensor behind the grille, but there isn't one there nor any wiring for one. where is the sensor actually located? what else could be causing the hi beams to not work properly? any help is appreciated. i just got the car and i love it.
thx,
bob

the censer is located right behind ur rear mirror on the windsheild

thx for the tip; any suggestions as to how to determine if my sensor is faulty? or is there any other reason that the hi beams would be not operating properly? thx again, bob
