2004 appearance or sport package?

I called Lincoln to get some info on my LS V8. She ran the numbers and told me I have the LS V8 Ultimate. Have every option but the HID, Nav and rear heated seats. I do have a rear spoiler. What else is different with this "option" than from an LS without it? Says my car was manufactured in Jan 2004. My grill is black with chrome trim. Standard? Thanks guys.

Sounds like you have the LSE.

What year is Quiks? From what I understand the spoiler was a 2004 late model year option. I was just wondering what the exterior styling cues were. I really cant tell a diff besides the rear spoiler. She didnt mention LSE. Only Ultimate.

Quicks is a 2001, but I do believe that I have heard him say before that his is a ultimate. Do your front bumpers have chrom in them? If so you should IM Quick and ask him more. He is an LS encyclopedia!!!

Yeah I make it a point to read all of Quiks posts! He has a reaar spoiler same as mine but he put his on aftermarket. My front bumper I would call a dark charcoal grey waterfall section with chrome going around it.

Right - mines a 2001 Premium (in 01 they had - base, sport, premium).

- in 02 they added the LSE, which was a sport (with options) with a CDC body kit.
- in 03 they offered in V8 the sport and ultimate.
- in 04 they added the LSE again, which was a sport (with options) and a unique body kit.

Sound like you have an Ultimate with some dealer added goodies (like the spoiler) - which is pretty common. The easiest way to know if yours is an LSE - is you would have all red taillamps - non-LSEs have two-tone clear on top.

Thanks guy. I was thinking the same thing. Bought mine from Yuppie Central. They actually had an Arlen Ness Navigator for sale!! Thing was damn nice but $75k!! Can you tell me what that appearance package with the spoiler actually had besides the spoiler?

Thanks guys. Turns out I have the Ultimate. Why no wood steering wheel and shift knob on the LSE? I love that look on mine. I guess my spoiler was a dealer addon.
