wassup everyone, i was thinkin of suiciding the rear doors on my '91 lincoln towncar. I would like some opinions, is this worth $2200?

Like they say....beauty is in the eye of the holder.......I would say that it would look like the original Conti from the mid to late 60's....might look kool....but that is something you will have to decide for yourself.

i think for it to look good u would either have to shave all the door handles or relocate the rear handles to make it like they were on the 60s continentals

and 2200 is the price u pay, unless u have the know how to do it yourself, all it is is a couple hidges and a little metal work

I've thought about doing that to my 88 TC for about 2 years now.The only reason I haven't is the wheel arch in the back edge of the door. I don't think it would look right, and I'm not sure if just a hinge on the upper part of the door would be enough to hold it.

I was wanting to do this mod also but it is a bit pricey. I can weld and do bodywork (i already shaved my back 2 door handles) but I dont think I have the skills to undertake the challenge of suicide yet. I think it would look sweet though!

I think you should do it!
