code 352

I had the CE light pop on the other day and ran the codes and came up with P0352, malfunction for ingintion coil B. what the hell does that mean? I'm probably going to check the boots out to see if any have cracks in them. Does anyone know what it means by coil "B". Does that mean a certain side or a certain cylinder? It would definitely help in narrowing the search. Also, is there any way to check the coils to see if they are bad? AutoZone said they can't tests coild like ours.

code 352 is a code for ignision problem, cyl # 2.check plug, wire, coil. the only thing the ppt shows either coil failure ,harness failure, or pcm failure. switch coils side to side and see if the code follows. should get a code 355,356,357,358. if it does change the coil.

I knew it was for a certain cylinder! Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

This thing is seriously getting on my nerves!!! I swapped the coil out (what I thought was the bad coil), drove fine for a while and then started hesitating. I took the car to get the codes ran again and now I have a 352 and 354? I'm assuming the 352 is from before.
