LvC Chat room

Why doesn't anyone use the chat room in here, just think, instead of waiting for an answer to you question, it could be answered within minutes......... think about it !

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I have gone to the chat room several times and just sat there for a while to see if anyone showed up. Nope.....

I've thought about that also Cubster. I've been in the chat room only two other times talking to another member.

Then there is the Wednesdays.

But it is funny that it doesn't get used as often as it could for some issues.

Well we can set up LVC "Tech Chat" on certain nights if you would like? We also have chapter meetings in the chat room where everything is discussed.

The Tech night thing would be nice especially for those of us who are not so tech minded but have some good questions on what to do or how to do it.

My thought would be to have someone assigned to the room on a certain night and then Lets say 8:00 anyone who has a question could come in.

Or that moderator could post what time they would be in the chat room and then we'd know when to pop in for answers.

Just thoughts.

That is a great idea... So long as the Techs attend... Can't have a bunch of dudes with questions unless ALL the techeads are there to answer...

Why does it have to be moderated ???? Why can't just a bunch of guys go in and throw the BS around for awhile.

That is what it's most likely would be.. the Moderator what I was thinking was that someone maybe like Geno who really knows their ins and outs on cars be in there incase we have a tech questions.

I would guess that there would be most likely someone who knows there stuff in the chat but just in case it would be nice to have a full blown gear head in the chat to help.

There is one thing to be concerned about though.

When questions are posted and answered in the forums, other people can find the info later on. When its in chat, that information is gone when the chat ends.

Seeing that the chat room is always open, why don't we do this, @ 6:00 to 9:00 PM eastern time, everyday, anyone who has a question can ask, when their question is answered to their satisfaction, they go to the main lobby, post their question & the answer they got................this should satisify everyone.
