I just joined this Forum after seeing Joey post it on www.corvetteforum.com where I spend some time every night. I've had my white '62 Vette since it was 5 years old, bought it in 1967 w/hardtop, 4-speed, "NOM". It now has a ZZ4 "Crate" Engine.
I know you want to hear about the "Pink/Linc"...it's a '57 Premiere Landau (which means it's a 4-door hard-top, 1st year for this model). It sat in a garage from 1972 to 1990 with 52K miles on it, when a friend sold it to me...for a DOLLAR! But, it was "down to the ground", radiator & battery box "shot", dents, scrapes, rust-throughs. I resurrected it by means of writing many checks. We (wife Donna & I) drove it to the LCOC Eastern National Meet at Atwood Lake, Ohio in '91, Road Race Lincoln Club meet in Baltimore in '92, and - last year - we "caravanned" it with 7 other "Cruise Couples" to "Woodward Avenue" (Detroit). Got there Wednesday the week of the event, all power went off Thursday...the Big BLACK-OUT! No traffic lights, no gas, no food...a great experience!
We're out every night hitting Cruises (238 in 2002) every night, and the "Pink/Linc" gets a LOT more attention than the Vette.
I'm sure you're all bored by now, so it's time to "hang it up" & catch some "ZZZ's"...it's 2a.m. here in "Da 'burgh"! Cruz/Ron

EAST: Holiday Park, Plum Boro, between Monroeville & Murrysville. When you get off the (North Shore) Pittsburgh exit of the Pa. T-Pike, you take rte.22 East for 2 miles, then swing off onto 286
Useta go to the Quaker Steak & Lube Sunday Cruises @ Robinson T/C

Everybody on THIS side of town continually laments the ending of the CHILI'S/Monroeville Cruises. I think Chili's "bailed" before having to pay a multi-million $$$$ lawsuit from someone getting killed by a runaway ric...uhhh..."Tuner Car"
