A coworker of mine has an 86 Town Car that won't start. No fire at the end of the coil wire. New coil and modgual. Any suggestions?

The TFI module in the distributor is new? All connections clean and tight? Is there +12v to the apropriate side of the coil? I don't recall offhand if one of those fusable links on the passenger side fender runs the ignition, but it cant hurt to check them all. Also pulling and cleaning all the connections on the battery side of the starter relay wouldnt hurt either.

It may be kinda late but there is a relay on the driverside that goes bad, Mide did the same thing.

the stator in the distributor could be bad.
