Every car forum I've ever been on has one of these as a sticky....
**hint hint**

What did you do to your Mark VIII today?

Today I managed to get my autolamps working. Removed the top pad and started testing the ambient light sensor. Somehow it just started working.

Dude check out my gallery. I did the same thing to my wheels back in June. Well worth it when painted correctly. They look great, still stock but gives it a bit of an attitude. I've since pulled out my stocks for Cobra R's but they still look mean!

Posted by: LaserSVT

Today I just recieved the last of my brake parts and got some cinder blocks to prop up the 97 LSC for parts removal. Tomorrow though.... man tomorrow and the two days after will be non-stop work on two Marks.

Posted by: poniesviii

What did I do to my mark today? I thought about what it looks like sitting in the cold garage that it's been in since october.

Posted by: mespock

My 94 did this zzzzzzzzzz ... shhhh still sleeping ... shhhh....

My 93 turned over and ran for about 20 min. ....

on your rims did you do the hub swap or did you find some where that sells replicas with the right offset

Posted by: billcu

I just drove mine to work and back today.

I did have to add some coolant to the coolant tank yesterday, I have a very slow leak.

Posted by: jrherald420

I filled the washer fluid up with de-iceing fuild, frozen tanks suck....

Posted by: Gilby959798

nothing... instead i got parts for the "other" toy....

Posted by: 87TTOPGT420

i drove the out of my mark...oh wait i do that everyday...gonna put the LSC exhaust tommorow, delete the 3rd cat, have a hpipe made in its place, and weld on some mufflers

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i put my new wheels on one of my marks!

Posted by: Blkdvll

Good to hear guys!

Posted by: Myco

Today I bondo'd a couple dents. And bugged a bunch of autozone's for the rear sway bar end links that no-one in houston has in stock and now, after reading the back of one of the packages, think I ordered the wrong part ( I think I need the 3inch 8/12ths length and not the 4inch 1/4 length).

Bondoing a car this car is an art. Make no mistake.

Posted by: GMAN

I fixed my door ajar problem.

They are replica's... Bought them used from a TCCoA.com member. They were their winter wheels so they have lot's of calcium deposit that has caused plenty of bubbles on the chrome but until I paint them black they will stay that way.

Oh & as for what I did to My Lincoln today? Unfortunately nothing, same as the last 2 months & the same as the next 3 months until I have the cash to send it to the tranny shop.

Posted by: 96fleetwood

Filled her up with BP 93 octane

Yesterday I added washer fluid to the 97 DD. I started the 98, haven't started it in about two months. It's a partial garage garage queen. While I was running the 98 I noticed a low tire on the 96 so I aired the official garage queen tires up.

Posted by: kustomizingkid

Nothing... it's sleeping...

Posted by: LaserSVT

On the 97:\Removed the bumper, lights, rear seat, climate controll, center console, information center controlls, door pannels, evap tray, stereo and the mirror.

On the 98 I was gonna install my brakes but can not get the correct banjo bolt today so I am about to go out and roll my fenders.

Posted by: Chadly

The 94 got the rear view mirror hung again and the 97 got the seafoam treatment. First time since I put the cobra intake on and man was it smokey!!!

Posted by: rooster1969

Thought about counting all of the bird droppings,............realized I can`t count that high.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Rolled the fenders and removed my center caps so Geno can make me some Lincoln ones. Then I sensor lowered the back and took her for a nice high speed drive over some bumps.

Posted by: 02LSE96LSC91SE84TC

Walked by it a few times, didn't touch it.

Posted by: NoLimit95

Ok, so, my day started out at 3 am this morning getting ready for a flight out of Huntsville International Airport to Atlanta to go buy my new 95 Mark. I took these pics from the sky.

Then I got on another jet, Boeing 757 to take me to Tampa International Airport so that Jamie could come pick me up. He shows up in the 95 after he cleaned it up inside real good. We went to his house and picked up his 93 and I followed him to his shop so that he could install the new compressor that I had sent him from Eddie.

Here he is working on it with his bald head.

So while he's doing that, I'm going around and admiring the custom white trunk lock cover that suits that car perfect.

I then took a shot of the rear end while the front was jacked up.

And then I took a few pics of the 100% completely perfect rear window gasket that looks new from the factory. It hasn't been fixed to look this way, it's just a perfect gasket with not one ripple anywhere.

Then I took some pics of the interior of the car. Jamie is still hooking me up with the compressor install and doing a damn good job I might add.

I also took a couple of pics of the Rosemist he has in the shop ready to be parted out.

Then I went outside and took a few pics of his 93 with the new chrome 10 spokes on it. He was still doing my compressor install.

Then he was done and I helped a little getting the front bumper cover back on and then I paid him his cash for the 95. He tried jipping me $100 but it didn't work lol.

Now I'm on my way home with it but I'm tired, sleepy, it's raining and I stopped and got me a room for the night so that I can make the drive in the morning. Took a pic of the palm trees or bushes, whatever they are, outside of the place I'm staying.

Now, I'm going to sleep. I think I have had enough for the day. Walking Atlanta's airport back and forth two times was hell just to find out that my flight decided to leave 10 minutes early. Had to wait an hour on the next flight to Tampa International. I'll be back home tomorrow sometime. Not in any rush. I love the car and it drives wonderful.

I got to meet some of the guys that hang at the shop and even Don Vitto lol. He was a character.

Posted by: BAD97LSC

haha sweet, look at my sexy head! i didnt realize you took so many pics guess i was pre-occupied! i'm glad you are happy, i was as honest as i could be about it, and for the price its a hell of a clean ass 95. i liked it more than shari did, but oh well! i'm glad after 3 to 4 years we finally met, it sucks what lead to us meeting, but i guess it was meant to be! enjoy the car man, i know she'll treat you good.

Posted by: jrherald420

Nice ride indeed, it couldnt have went to a better guy. Good luck with this one!!!!

Posted by: jona571

Thanks for that.

Just made it home with it less than 30 min ago and it drove back like a new one. The 98 air bags in the front and the sensor lower, you would think it would be a little rough but it's not and rides better than my 94 did. Anyway, made it home safe and it's now setting next to the bomb car. I hope the 94 don't look over at the 95 and get pissed off.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Today I installed the speakers, sub, amp and bluetooth module. I also changed the mounting bracket for the deck so it wasnt so sunken into the dash. Now its flush. Then I cut an ABS trim ring to fill the gaps. Looks pretty slick now.

Posted by: billcu

I took 2 photos of my shock actuator.

After driving 90 miles to a train show.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Today I installed some bright ass high beams to match the HIDs, polished the headlight lense, fixed the velcro on the radiator beauty cover and wired a new ground for the dome light.... I can has dome light neow!

Still waiting on the window dude to get here to finnish the window.

Posted by: UltimateSVT

Well my friend convinced me to plug in the old transmission so that I can atleast crank up the car a couple times a week & that I did. We crawled under the car after jacking it up & placed all the plugs back in. Loved how she sounded!!! However we left the car idling for about 20 minutes only to notice that it looks like my water pump is about to take a dump on me. It's leaking so there goes another problem in my hands. Didn't touch it today though.

Posted by: mespock

I opened the garage door to the garage where my 94 is sleeping ... boy it looked pretty ... shhhhh ....

I drove my 93 ... and bought some oil for it ... also ordered a fuel filter ...

Ummm Small town they don't stock everything ... I'll have it tomorrow.

Posted by: Stangman

I walked past mine all smashed up in the driveway... like I do every day on the way to and from work...

stupid winter.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Today I had the windows tinted and had the rear window replaced.

Posted by: NoLimit95

Laser, I'm right behind you lol. Got my windows done today all the way around. I always get my little Asian guy to do them for me. He's been tinting now for around 18 years. He really loves my back window, NOT! He's real good though and does it in one piece and never shows one air bubble anywhere. He knows how picky I am. Now the car looks 100% better but it was near dark when he finished so no finished pic of it yet. I'll get that tomorrow.

Pics taken with my phone btw. Oh yeah, all windows were done in 20% and it looks damn good now.

Posted by: 93' Blue on blue

Cool, but won't you be risking getting stopped for illegal tint?

Huntsville and Madison are pretty cool with 20% and I never leave town. Also, I made a mistake. The door windows are 35% and the rear three windows are 20%

I was going to go with all 20% but decided against it. Don't know why I was thinking I had all of it done in 20%. With the way it is now, I'll never have any problems with it and when they check, if they ever do, they always check the door windows and they're legal. They just appear darker now because of the darker tint in the rear. I'll get some pics of it up tomorrow. It blends well from front to back.

Posted by: driller

Wrong.

Your 35% tint will fail because the factory windows are tinted.

Ask me how I know.

Posted by: kylecm85

I finally sanded and repainted my rear bumber i was sick of looking at it.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Nice thing is around here you can go as dark as ya want on the rears so I did limo 5 this time and on the doors I did 20% cause I would like to see a little at night.

Nolimit, looking good mang. Like the resting ride height.

Just got done doing another mod to the car.... well kinda. I upgraded the Pioneers hard drive to the 2009 version and 80gb of storage. I loaded every CD I have in the car and now have to start working on the CDs inside.
Gotta say its a very worth while upgrade too. Much better maps and a faster operating system plus now I dont get that annoying parking brake error.

Posted by: Gilby959798

i put it in the garage... time to take some stuff off and send it out and fix some things...

Changed the fuel filter on my 93 today ... discovered that the coil on my conversion is busted... Damn..

Don't know when this happened. Maybe when my daughter took it in the ditch last winter. (93 is my winter car)

When i tint mine i'm def doing 20 on the the back 3 and 35 on the front doors. i have 5% all around on my marquis and its a bit ch to see out of at night. looks good though.

Posted by: Stangman

I wish I had tinted windows...

Better yet... I wish My car ran!

Posted by: 93' Blue on blue

As above.

As much as I'd like heavy tint, I can't do it, as it's checked as part of NC's annual safety inspection.

I haven't done anything in a week.....I'm so sick of this rain! I feel like I'm in Seattle!

Leave it to Eddie Spinks at American Air Suspension .. even though the conversion was 4 years old he's told me it's under warranty ... New coil is in the mail .. Thanks Eddie.

This is why screw Sun Cost and Arnott .. You want any Mark VIII suspension parts go to Eddie.

Put a meter on it. 35% on top of the factory tint is below the legal limit.

Madison City Police dept has put a meter on my 94 when I had to rip off the 5% that was on it. I had 35% put back on the 94 and took it to them and it read 32%. They have updated equipment unlike other police departments. Now if they do my rear side windows, they'll have me but it's very unlikely and they will not climb in the back seat and do the rear window. Takes two cops or a helping hand and I ain't helping them do .

I can has new rear glass!

Clean seal =

Posted by: Roadboss

Just used my 7 year old Spider Valve to air up my ride while Eddie sends me a new Compressor. Winter---just love it!!

Took the 95 to the Lincoln dealer today and had the recall on the cruise control deactivation switch done. Now when the garage is redone in the next 2 weeks, I won't have to worry about burning it again.

I was in and out of the dealer within 15 minutes. Why this has not been done already is beyond me. Anyway, it's done now.

Im having mine done on Friday, what does it look like?

Posted by: JMiles_T

Dropped front sub-frame and replaced oil filter adapter gasket. Since it was apart anyway I took time to fix a slow leak between the pressure-hose inlet tube and the rack of the steering system. All this was done over the course of 3 days.

Brake system maintenance this weekend.

The 95 is simple for them to do. It's right behind the fender well but if it's a normal Ford or Lincoln shop, they'll never let you stand there and watch. All they're doing is installing a fused link so that the fuse would blow before a fire could actually happen. It's a small piece, kinda hard to describe. I seen one pictured somewhere before. I think it was on the .org site but either way, you won't be waiting long on it. Really they had mine done within 10 minutes. The rest was printing out my paper for my records and for theirs.

Laser, you do something to that car every 5 minutes lol. We need to start a thread just for you that has the header "what have you done to your mark in the past 5 minutes"

I had to say it. I think ideas just set in your head like this and then you pick one while it's sitting still hahahaha.

That about sums it up! I see something I want to do and then go do it! Problem is I have all these little things I want to do right now and then I look at the parts pile in my closet and think "I really should install all that stuff first"
In my closet right now I have a Trac-Lok, 3.73 gears, complete install kit, speedo gear, axle bearings, friction modifier and a 93 drive shaft. I also have a nice new X-Cal that says "LaserSVT" when it starts up but cant use it yet as its set for the wrong car. Then I have an entire brake kit sitting on my kitchen table.
So what do I do? I order the fuel reset, mileage, compass controll pannel cause the one I have has a couple chips in it.

Its hell living in my head, they never shut up.

Didn't take them long to fix it did it?

Posted by: jrherald420

At first they said they didnt have the time to do it, then i told them i called Monday to set up an apointment and was told to just bring it in on Friday. It took about an hour from the time i pulled it in to the service bay to the time i left. I hate the dealership, lol sadly thats where im hoping to get a job at after i pass my ASE tests.

I put new rear airsprings in my green Mark VIII. Good day for it, it's warmed up to 39 degrees.

Not much to it, nothing to see here.

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i gave my 93 a long bath inside and out and then went and took a bunch of pics, the thread is down lower in this forum!

Posted by: Go Fast Get Tickets

Serviced the trans in the 93. Mercon V synthetic and swapped in a 96 trans pan and filter. Still have a little shudder, looks like I will be jmoding the 98 trans and getting another TC from Lonnie @ BOC. Just love swapping trans in Mark VIII's, NOT.

Also fixed a clunk in the trunk, lower ds shock mount bolt loose.

Tomorrow is wash day I hope, inside and out.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Put in a new information center controll pannel on the 98 and removed just about everything from the 97.

Posted by: Gilby959798

since ive decided to keep the mark... i bought some stuff to do the hub swap this spring/summer... going to be slapping my 98 cobra rims on it with some nitto 555s... oh i need to find a cheaper hobby...

Alright, all I did was start my car for a bit & hosed it off a bit since it's REALLY dirty but the best part about my day is Mark related but doesn't have to do anything with My Mark VIII! I have a surprise for y'all & it's coming soon to the forum!

Posted by: mespock

Today I left my 94 in the garage where it's spending ithe winter...

My 93 it waiting a replacement coil from Eddie ...

Posted by: Dmaup

I started mine and cried because havent driven it since october and I miss it.....
Stupid boring truck.....2 more months till spring

Posted by: LaserSVT

I installed my new air strut and then washed it.

Posted by: NoLimit95

I got my title transferred from Jamie, over to my name and my tag is due in Feb but those azzes would only give me a tag that's good for 6 days or until I go back down there sometime in Feb and get another tag. She said in the state of Alabama, you can't even come one day early and get your tag. That's stupid. Anyway, she had to walk out in the cold and verify the VIN# on the car before she would give me the tag because of the title transfer.

She asked me how was I so lucky to have bought that car for only $500 and I told her the same reason I was lucky enough to not have to pay all the extra taxes lol. She didn't get it. Title, tag & tax was only $48.00

Posted by: jrherald420

I had the same exact thing happen to me when i bought my Firebird 10 months ago, i had to pay for a tag that was good for a week and then go back and get one for a year. LOL I had the same comment for the price of the car too, only here if you didnt pay more than 45-50% of the total value for the car your charge taxes for the full value of it. I was 1.00 away from being charged full value!!!!! The guys mom worked at a DMV and told use what to say for a price.

Engine Detail + Wash&Vac.

Posted by: marked8

Just won a (new) 28 spline T-Lok on Ebay for $86. I finally said screw it and am planning to get the car the way I want it for spring. By March I will also be buying 4.10 Ford racing gears, an Edge converter, Dennys driveshaft and a 255 LPH fuel pump to do everything at once. I want to see how Laser's computer acts with my rebuilt tranny and mods. If it doesn;t like it then I may also need a tune. Grandpas car needs a little kick in the arse.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Didnt do much yesterday and today. Installed a Cobra brake kit up front and matching rotors with ceramic pads for the rear. I also installed a braided brake line kit and then swapped out the fuel filter..... that poured a light brown liquid from it.

Sure do love my new brakes though.

Posted by: mecaple1

i put 295/30/19 tires on rear and they fit. heh heh never say never.

Posted by: billcu

I rotated the tires on my green and white Marks today (I took them both for a drive ).

It's 25 degrees, sunny and dry out, and the cars needed the excersize since they have been on vacation since winter started. They both ran great.

I'm looking forward to driving them again in the spring, although the black Mark has been running great. I put 6K miles on it so far this winter.

Posted by: Jeffintampa

I had someone change a gasket behind my Oil filter had like 5 holes in were Oil and coolant went threw them, got it home last night, washed it and waxed it today, washed out and wiped down engine bay

Posted by: marked8

Bought a Pioneer in dash GPS receiver for it. Also bought new wiper blades. I was going to work on the car but it is 18 degrees and we have half a foot of snow on the ground.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Finnaly got my SCT tune installed.
Discovered I have burned out brake lights and a new and loud ball joint creeking noise. So tomorrow will be a busy one.

Posted by: enskanker

Last weekend:
Removed both seats. Stripped to near actual leather finish removing much original factory "Ivory" color.

Had LeatherRenew.com make me a very low gloss mix, from their closest match in color, GM's "Cappachino Cream". ( sent them a sample) I've used their Ford "Ivory" color and it is to glossy and yellowish. Most "Ivory's" in these cars has lightened/faded. The Cappachino Cream is very close to my current version of Ivory.
Results below, added some top notch cupholders and programmed a 2nd key and memory 2 remote.

Posted by: Gilby959798

started it... air up the tires, ran the relay kit for the HID headlights, waiting to get my restored headlights back so i can drive her again... I miss the power

Posted by: rooster1969

Pumped up the suspension,Sprayed the Goose poop off it and drove a few miles.

Posted by: Shevretti

Replaced factory coils (125K miles, #5 was misfiring) with a set of new Accel COP's.

Posted by: Screw-Rice

I ordered a SCT Xcal 2, and Jmod kit today.

Posted by: NoLimit95

Washed it for the first time since I have had it in Alabama. Now it's raining.

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i looked at mine getting washed by mother nature after driving it home 1280 miles!!

Posted by: 93' Blue on blue

Any more than 4 hours driving my Mark and my ass goes numb.

Did your ass get numb Jamie? Hmmm?

EDIT: Damn, forgot what this thread was, anyway I cleaned my fuel tank in prep for a new fuel pump. (yesterday)

Posted by: MERIJONS97LSC

I opened the window in my dining room and took a picture of my marks, LOL it's just too cold to go out

Posted by: LaserSVT

Dropped mine off yesterday for some paint/body work. Damn I miss her already.

Posted by: Gilby959798

pulled the radio, going to put LEDs in the gauges, tails, brake, license plat and on all of the bulbs of the mustang... cant wait to see what it looks like...

Posted by: marked8

I can't do anything to mine right now because it is %&*^$%^ snowing again. 3-6 tonight, maybe a foot+ Friday into Saturday and more on Tuesday. I feel like I am living in Michigan again, not the south.

wow... led bulbs really add up... guess that will have to wait for a while...

Posted by: mespock

Well going to change out the front coil spring on my passenger's side conversion on my 93.

Posted by: ssmoparviii

Detailed my engine compartment. Took off my appearance cover and massaged the heck out of it with some protectent and repainted the words "Power Steering Fluid Fill". Speaking of that does anyone have the cover that goes on the other side? It looks like mine must of broke off years before I got the car. I just want to place it there and glue it on so the under side of my hood looks complete.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Got her back from the shop and then had the wheels rotated and some new rubber put up front. Now all the vibration is gone and she drives like a dream! Used to shake the wheel at 50-65 MPH and pissed me off. Smooth as silk now all the way to 140.
I also tweaked the shift points some more and the car is really behaving well.
Now to the next project, fix teh damn door seals.

Posted by: jrherald420

I think the engine looks better without that ugly azz cover on it.

Posted by: Gilby959798

cleaned up the 98 cobra rims and making them have a nice polished lip thing... thats going to take a long time but hopefully ill get it done soon....

Posted by: ssmoparviii

Agreed... But until I get rid of the ugly azz mufflers hooked to the air cleaner assembly that cover looks good. hahaha

Posted by: Go Fast Get Tickets

New plugs, wires, and MLPS. Freaking snowing so no test drive. Back to smooth idle! And found out I need cam cover gaskets. Every time I knock something of the list I add more back !

Posted by: LaserSVT

Fixed wire harness so parking lights would work and bought the last parts needed for the gear swap.

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

I bought mine a friend.

Posted by: TJKashin

Put her on jackstands in preparation for solenoid replacement on the front Struts and a new air ride computer. She's do dirty though =(

Posted by: marked8

I walked by it a few times and wished it could move with 35 inches of snow all around it.

Posted by: LaserSVT

I detailed the wheels, engine and trunk in preperation for the full detail tomorrow. Also bought some goop called "The Right Stuff"

Posted by: LaserSVT

Finshed the detail and posted some nice pics for all to see cause im an attention whore.

Posted by: jrherald420

^^^Much nicer sig picture!!!!^^^

+1, it brought out the brightness or something.

Oh, I walked by mine and checked the mail on a Sunday and then I walked back by it again. It's still wet from 2 weeks of rain.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Thanks!

Posted by: mespock

I walked passed my 93 today

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i ripped off the old headlight access panel, it had a large section cut out of it. why i'm unsure of, but i replaced the whole thing, used my solder gun to put the velcro tabs back on it and melt the pins over so they dont come off if i remove the access panel. i also jazzed up the writing with some bright silver paint.

Posted by: mespock

Hmmm what did I do to my Mark today ... Hmmmmm ..... I know ...

Posted by: LaserSVT

I like that! Ima gonna copy you mmkay? kthnxbai

Today I spent allot of money for a complete front end rebuild.

Ball joints are creaking like an old lady so I figured since I am there and alignments are expensive I may as well replace it all at once since its all factory. New UCAs, LCAs, Front/rear strut rod bushings, tie rods, end links and new door seals.

Posted by: marked8

I admired it sitting in the snow drift. F*ck Al Gore.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Excelsior!!

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

Yesterday I paid someone else to do my alignment.

Posted by: jrherald420

I ordered new upper and lower control arms from Super Coupe Performance....cant wait for that job!!!! lol

Posted by: LINCBRA

Last night, around 1am, I decided to replace, what I thought would help but didn't, a coil-on-pack and a spark plug. Then I removed all spark plugs and foin-on-plugs on my passenger side and cleaned and put them back in. Took about 45 minutes. Not too bad.

Posted by: mespock

I put new floor mats in my 93 ....

Posted by: marked8

I finally got it dug out and got a new tire put on. The old one was leaking and going flat every few days. Tomorrow I am going to swap computers and take it for a nice drive on the highway. It will be going back under the carport and parked because more snow is coming Monday.

Posted by: mespock

Took my wife for a ride in my 93

Posted by: Rude

Well - not today exactly, but I did just get it back from the exhaust shop. Just changed mufflers to magnaflows. I had a LMS cat back sys installed back at Chritmas time, but just could not get used to the low-slung look of the mufflers on my '94. - sorry Geno. The rest of the system is great though and Geno's advice was spot on. I'm real happy with the magnaflows and SS tips look damnear stock - plus it sounds great... a little nasty, but not noisy. I'll try to remember to post some pics when the weather breaks.

Posted by: cadillackman

I went to Harbor Frieght today & picked up an angle grinder for 20 bucks. I finished trimming my rear fenderwells & then Kryloned the crap out of the cut line. Now I can drop the car all of the way to the ground with 275/40's out back. No more cringing over bumps now!

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i took my rear wheels off, installed my rotor rings for the cobra rotors so they will sit centered on the hubs, cleaned the backsides of the wheels, then hit the car with some mquires instant detailer, cleaned the engine bay real good, made her look beauteeeful then backed her in the shop, moved her close to the wall out of the way, and covered it with blankets until i can register it!!

Posted by: jrherald420

Awwww she sleeping...

Posted by: LaserSVT

I washed mine today..... thats it.

Oh yeah, I pulled more stuff off the 97 to put on it.

Posted by: BAD97LSC

oh yeah i finally put my pulley on the alternator from the under drive pulley kit!

Posted by: THEMOJOMAN

I've been trying to get over a severely sprained knee since DEC 10th AND a SINUS INF. for the last month "BUT" I do pat my MARK on the nose everytime I squeeze past her going thru my garage (to get to our PU) SAYING PRETTY SOON BABY we'll be going over to see JAMIE's new place. (if we don't get smacked on US19 trying).

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

Drove it to the meetin spot. And washed it again. BRRRRRRRRR 20 degrees outhere.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Jamie, are your center caps missing?

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

Register. IE- tag, pay the man, get ur pink.

Posted by: MsM8tress

got pulled out of my sisters drive by a tractor, then pulled out of the other side of her drive with the tractor. Where you see the rear tire - one foot further is a 4 foot ditch, same with the other side. He finally had to pull her all the way up the drive, plow out the entrance and I finally got out.

Went home, made oriental chicken and oriental shrimp for dinner at moms, loaded it and niece in car, car won't start.....see post in http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/sho...771#post631771 Mark VIII forum which I am asking for help in diagnosing what is up...or down...

Somebody wanted some love today, turns out it's the 95 lol!!
!

I kinda Miss when my Asham 8 Module was working, that thing worked pretty good, Now I have the Ray Switch and nothing is working right unless its set to stock.. nothin with the Ray Switch.. just My air Suspension sucks.. I was really thinking about Gutting it and putting on 1.5 lowing coil overs....

Posted by: MsM8tress

my Rays switch gives me problems too (in my 96, the one in the pic is stock), and Ray himself installed it, the sypder valve and the compressor.

It's FEB 14 Happy V day and We're still waiting. Just being funny. I live over here near Jamie on the coast of THE REAL FLORIDA. "THE SUN COAST". Our sand is WHITE and we can watch the SUN til it goes down. Over there you better be at the beach by 9am CAUSE by NOON the SUN is OVER YOUR SHOULDER. I lived in LAUDERDALE for 4 yrs. once. I loved LAUDERDALE there were 38XXX Book Stores and over 20 TOPLESS places in the late 70's. I saw DEEP THROAT and BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR there. You gotta be at least 45-48 to rem. those days. Forgive me if all this info offends you.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Today I installed new door seals.

Really have to slam the doors now.

Posted by: THEMOJOMAN

I balanced myself kinda putting fingers on the hood as I hobbled (sprained knee still recouping) past between MY MARK and the wall heading to my doctors,,once there finding out the reason I'm more dizzy than usual because my doctor had me on XYZAL (samples). Stupid me I should have gotten a pharmacy readout before taking his samples. DON'T TAKE THOSE THINGS WORSE THAN ZYRTEC. DIZZY TIRED. One good thing infection cleared up. By tommorrow afternoon I should be back to NORMAL (WHATEVER THAT IS)

Man am I glad I'm working in Fla. for the winter. Looks like my brothers place near Pittsburgh.

Posted by: Go Fast Get Tickets

Pulled the back seat and ds rear quarter trim for the body man. Goes under the knife Thurs. Dent removal.

Posted by: Chromebrow

I installed my Ray switch today.
It wasnt that bad to do. Its not working perfect at this moment but I think I'll figure it out in a day or two.
I like it, it gets low. I still need to reposition my sensor lower job as I have it set too low right now.
I'll post pics when I get a chance to fix my sensor location.

Posted by: MsM8tress

I got the battery cables fixed!!! I only assisted a little, my bro-in-laws did the real soldering. I'd like to get Tux's done like this cept prettier. Aren't the corrosion felt garters sexy!!!! :

Posted by: Chromebrow

MsM8tress, If you seal the top of those terminals and battery posts with some non conductive grease. It will look pretty much longre. That nasty corrosion needs air to breed, if you deny it that they should stay clean alot longer. It may not look "sexy" but it would be lubed up and ready to party

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

It got hot today [30] so I washed it.

Posted by: MsM8tress

guess you can't have enough lube!!! lol will do Hottie! thank you!

Posted by: Chromebrow

No Prob! I dont think the flavored or warming kind will work, but if you try it snap a few shots for the "HOT" thread.

Posted by: LaserSVT

I can has driveway?

So it wasnt as much TOO the Mark as it was FOR the Mark. The entrance to my car port used to have a 2" lip and went straight into mud. If it rained then it stayed mud for a week afterward. It really really sucked. So I hired a friend and told him go get the cheap rock stuff for driveways and lay it down. Gave him $100 for the whole thing and in a couple weeks hes gonna put a layer of those grey/black rocks over it after it settles in a little.

I am stoked, I know its nothing but at least I dont have to drive in mud and kill my ball joints against that ledge any more.

Washed "IT"???? - I want PICS!!!!!!!

Posted by: MsM8tress

I feel you laser - plus you will keep your tires clean and wheel wells!!!!

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

Here are the pics. The night ones are tonight. I had to use my truck to light the car up. But I did it. And the day ones are from V-day. She got real wet.

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

It has been real ty here lately so I've been stoppin at the carwash after work and givin the body and the wheels and undercarriage and wheel wells a once over.............That was a bigger list then I thought, sorry. It was by no means a full hands on wash.

Posted by: 1bad4.6l

Wow! I just got that. [Swigs from mug and shut's up for the night.] I meant to say "I washed Chamelle."

Posted by: Go Fast Get Tickets

Put it in the body shop to get the dent in ds rear quarter fixed! Also going to go over it and take care of as many scratches as he can and try to fix some paint/clear fade on pass quarter around the antenna.

Posted by: BAD97LSC

i washed my 93 at the shop and stared at my 97 all covered up in the shop and wanted to cry that i cant drive it, been a week now since i drove her

Posted by: NoLimit95

I took the low profile whatever 245's off the 95 and put some new BF Goodrich Pro Touring 225/60/16 tires on and now I don't have steering wheel wobble anymore and rides a lot smoother now. Looks like I have some tire on it and my gas mileage is a bit better. Just drove it from Madison, AL. to Auburn, AL. and it was a nice ride.

Snagged a dirty inside shot. I haven't cleaned it out since I owned it.

Posted by: marked8

I put in Laser's flashed computer. The shifts definitely firmed up. I can't wait to try it on the highway tomorrow.

Posted by: LaserSVT

Excellent! I really miss that computer. That tune was dialed in perfect!

Posted by: marked8

Here is a shirt for you Laser:

Posted by: LaserSVT

Nice. Thanks! Its not even my birthday!

Posted by: marked8

Yesterday walked a new Suzuki XL7 on I-66 near Front Royal, VA. He came flying up trying to pass so I matched his speed at near 90. He accelerated so I waved and said "bye" and floored it leaving him badly. Got off of it around 125 with him multiple bus lengths back. I don't ever do that anymore, but it was a clear streatch of road with no cops so I had a little fun. I was surprised to see that those things have 252 hp. Maybe he will learn not to tailgate old Lincoln's.

Posted by: jrherald420

Mr. kylecm85 re-wired my sh*tty job of installing my radio and speakers for me, it was nice to meet another member but it was even nicer haveing a kickazz radio to listen to on the way back home!!!!!!! He also fixed the drivers side headlight flickering problem i was having with my HID's.

Thanks again kylecm85!!!!!! I hope to meet up again soon.
