Buying a 94 to replace the wrecked 96, pics!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

It's a 94 with a clean tan interior and 120,000 miles. What it needs is the J-mod as it is starting to act up and the guy hit a deer which damaged the grille, dented the drivers door and damaged the drivers side fender. The car has no rust and the airbags are good. We are going to pick it up in Wisconsin Friday evening, and we are paying $1300. I will be doing the J-mod immediately then having the dent pulled in the door and replacing the fender. The grille can wait a few months. He said the car has a few different Mark VIII wheels on it, so I will be changing out my 96's 10 spoke wheels with good tires onto the 94. I am also keeping my old engine and tranny as well as some of the other components if the ones on the 94 go out. If anyone does not remember, my 96 was totalled by a guy with a suspended license at the beginning of February. It will be nice to drive a Mark again and all of the damage will be replaced by mid summer.

I'm not so sure of the price with all that body damage.

Posted by: scott9050

The damage is very minimal, I am figuring a few hundred bucks to fix tops. I have a parts car also with a good door if the dent does not pop out right. I have a grille lined up for $75 and I can get a fender locally for the same. So basically for less than 2 grand I will have a nice running/driving/looking Mark VIII which is all I want.

sounds like a good price to me just for a few dents, hell i can live with that, i hope your getting it!

Glad to see Mespock sold his Lincoln Mark VIII to someone who will love it and treat it right. Congrats.
