I think those things are a great idea to save the front end. My last car, a Mustang, was just beat to death after 80k miles. The bumper cover has as many chips as it had paint spots left on it. Still, I'm not willing to take the hit on appearance.
Has anyone had one of those on his car a long time? Do they damage the paint under the cover (by rubbing or something)? |

well what happens is over time sand and dust settles between in and the paint. i've seen some car that never took it off for years and nothing but rust under it.
