Tech Specialist for Alpine 6-Disc In Dash

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Where can I find a person or company that specializes in the technical specifics for my new Alpine 6-Disc In-Dash Audiophile System (Part# 2W4T-18C815-AC) ? I need more technical information than what I can get in the maunal.

For example I need to know if this particular Alpine unit has a security "reduced protect mode when it sees a lower ohm load. Such as a speaker going bad.", like MikeB hints to. I also need to know the total and channel power of the system for when I replace the door speakers and what type of signal each speaker should be receiving for troubleshooting and what to use to test it.

Please advise ASAP.

sorry - the OEMs are horrible for providing detailed manuals like you get with an aftermarket unit. I sent some time searching various sites and the internet - all I could find was general stuff like -> http://radiosandmore.com/product_Spe...18C815-AC&RB=1

nothing to the detail you need.

We can try answering your questions....
