Just had the cams replaced and my deville has been setting for a week after the work was done. I drove it last week with no problems however this week (now remind you it has been setting a week) when I started it up it sounded like I was starting a diesel engine, then finally the enging got quieter anyone know what the problem may be?

1) Are you using any coolant?

2) Has it been raining alot in your area the last week or so?
