VCRM??? and who has one

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

95 Mark VIII, a/c stopped working and no cooling fan, from reading other post seems like that VCRM correct??? I checked fuses-all good, swapped relays around - no change. I checked low pressure switch-has voltage, jumped across it-no change

So does anyone have a known good one???

Also, how is the connector held to the module??? By a center nut like ECM'S??? If so, what size, cause I tried some sockets and nothing seems to fit. I tried also getting the lower bolt out of the control module to bracket and no luck, bolt and nut are spinning.

i have a bunch and the plug is held in with a center bolt, its one of two sizes, they used 7 mm or more commonly 5.5 mm. the bolt holding the module to the bracket is an 8 mm bolt and if you have to just break it, if all it does is spin, or try to hold the back side with vice grips and loosen the bolt.

Cool deal Jamie, let me know how much and payment accepted. Paypal???

I think I went down to like 6 mm and still did not work, so I guess 5.5 it is, I just figured unpug the connector and plug in the new one to make sure works then.

Hi! Have you got any more of these VRCM's? And if so, how much $$ and when can I get one? I'm having a hard time finding one.
