Passed up buying a 2000 SS 6 speed Camaro

Today i test drove this baby, Red, 6 speed Hurst..sweeet.!!! The salesman was cool and we chatted for a good hour about cars. I could have financed the car and left only $1000 down, the car cost $11,000 and was MINT with 41,000 miles. One owner.

Honestly, it aint worth paying $550+ per month. It was fun, pretty quick, but i was thinking the whole time how much more comfortable my 96 LSC is. Another thing, if I sank 2-3 grand into the Mark, it would be at the same speed 0-80 wise as the Camaro.

Shifting the 6 speed was fun though i must admit. The entire 2nd gear pulled like how our cars pull from 30-50.

Throw a 6 speed in your mark it's worth it!

definatly agree! how much work is involved doing this swap? I want to do it I do like the camaro ss though! I drove a few but I still love the marks!!

$550 a month is way to much of a payment for financing $10k. Even at 10% for say three years your looking at $323.

I have been on a hunt for a LS1 myself, I drove a 98 Z28 last week and loved it, he was asking too much so the deal was not made. I want to keep the Mark for a cruiser and want a LS1 as a bruiser. Or just sell the Mark and get a LS2 GTO. LS1 cars are fun and even bone stock they are fast
