Billet hood strut....

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I'm parting out my stang and returning it to stock because a stock car usually fetches more than a modified car. So as I was going over my part list of what to sell I noticed the billet hood struts I put on the stang might fit on the Mark.

I took them off and put them on the Mark in place of the black stock hood struts. They fit great and look awesome! Although they weren't made for the Mark, nor does the company make a Mark compatible hood strut, it seems to work great.

Here's a pic of the billet hood struts and a pic of my ride too.....

You can just see the bumper off my stang to the rear of the Mark....

Car looks great. Where did you find the billet struts?

Posted by: ripped camel

I bought them at americanmuscle.com for my 03 gt. They don't fit "perfect" on the connector, but they fit pretty good. I'm trying to alter them a bit more to make them perfect.

btw, thanks for the compliment.

You can also get Billet strut covers for around $35.00. Thats what I am doing because I am a cheapo! LOL!
